Memories

I broad jumped 11' in bare feet, apparently a DHS record then. - DLVE

We changed the rules of Eastern European Handball - instead of aiming for the goal with the handball, we aimed for the goalie. - DLVE

Dodgeball with volleyballs in the minor gym always had its share of casualties. - DLVE

During kickball in the parking lot we always aimedto kick the ball at either the outfielder of the opposing game or in the vicinity of Ms. Vasbinder sitting at the far entrance. - DLVE

Mitch Murphy often ended many a kickball game after he roofed the balls on top of the gym. - DLVE

During an obstacle course test as part of a fitness test some students tripped over the plastic hurdle, which was not exactly short even by varsity track & field standards, and began to cry in embarrassment. Maybe they should have had various hurdle heights available instead. - DLVE

It was always fun getting squirted with soap from the pressurized soap dispensers in the showers - DLVE
