The friendly bowling match between Dan and Mike Stokey unfortunately escalated into a Dover High School/Michigan-New Philadelphia High School/Ohio State rivalry war. During the match, Mike stole Dan's headband and wore it as a half-jock strap. As he started to bowl with it on, he tripped and landed flat on his face, but somehow managed a strike, which resulted in a wild celebration and ultimate victory.
